Everyone, at one point or another have been hurt in relationships. Few people are able to actually let go of the pain with the intention of moving on with their lives without allowing the past to interfere with their future happiness.

Most people have a tendency to hold onto the pain and anger they feel after they have been hurt. They have yet to understand that there are mental, emotional, and physical reasons as to why it is challenging to release the pain and move forward.

One area that can make it complicated to release the past is the misunderstanding of what forgiveness is. People often think forgiveness absolves the other person of anything that happened. You’ll soon discover that this statement is furthest from the truth.
